Daily Walks

Let Diane Varner's daily images inform your intentions for the day. The name she has given to this photograph is Twilight. As twilight brings a different energy to the day, ask yourself, What blessings from the day am I bringing home? How will I integrate them into my tomorrow?

Reggio Emilia

This URL accompanies the article on teaching, under the Services section. I offered the opinion in that article, that transformative teaching begins in early childhood. This website, about the teaching paradigm Reggio Emilio, understands that the student herself/himself truly governs the learning exploration.

Blue Ocean Institute

Carl Safina's new book, The View from Lazy Point, is featured in the book section of this site. Here is the website of the organization he founded. In his own words, Blue Ocean Institute uniquely works through science, art, and literature to inspire solutions and a deeper connection with nature. We share reliable information that enlightens personal choices, instills hope, and helps restore living abundance in the ocean.

Earthsayers

The earthsayers website features video clips of powerful voices committed to the healing of the earth community, around topics such as biodiversity, climate change, forests, fresh water, gaia, systemic change, interconnectedness, interdependence and more. The earthsayers themselves, such as earthsayer Joanna Macy, have contributed tirelessly to the healing of our planetary ecosystems which, of course, include ourselves.

LoraKim Joyner

First and most important, LoraKim is a lover of all creatures - two legged, four legged, and winged. She is a veterinarian, a minister who serves the Unitarian Universalist Church and in January 2012 has launched her website. You might take a look at her video's on YouTube, or check out her gopher tortoise on my post of January 22, 2012.
